Art for Your Home Decor
Creating colorful resin artwork gives Sharon great joy. She grows to love each finished piece of art for its colors, forms, and values. Resin art is not painted with a brush. Instead, it is poured out onto the surface and allowed to flow on its own until the artist decides to direct it. So, there is the battle between what the resin wants to do against the artist controlling it, producing some tension in the process. However, Sharon sees the process as more of a collaboration between her and the resin. She states, “While the resin is in its liquid form, it is alive with an energy of its own, working with me to complete a finished product. When it has hardened and cured, I feel the love and joy that went into creating a colorful resin artwork. My hope is that each collector feels that same love and joy as they gaze upon it each day in their homes.”
